Yellow Brick Road

Since 1997, Yellow Brick Road has performed weekly in Las Vegas, NV. Originated by lead vocalist Brody Dolyniuk as an Elton John Tribute act, YBR eventually began performing a variety of classic rock material in their later sets. Soon afterward it would become clear that the demand for the band’s increasing repertoire of rock anthems outgrew the Elton segment of the show.
Quickly building a fan base, the band filled a major void in the Vegas music scene by being one of the first acts to boldly present rock music as a new platform of casino entertainment, previously having been dominated by “lounge acts” doing Top 40/Motown. In the fall of 2000, Vegas gaming giants Station Casinos offered YBR a weekend house gig situation, which has been going strong since. It’s been common for many headline acts to attend YBR shows or sit in as special guests….artists like Toby Keith, Sammy Hagar, Neal Schon of Journey, Eddie Money, Steve Lukather of Toto, and many more have shared the stage with the band.

YBR is best known for being able to replicate each artist they cover with great attention to detail and versatility. The band’s work ethic is unmatched, as is evident by their ongoing schedule, ever-increasing song list, and their many one-off, special stage shows that have included pyrotechnics, lasers, multimedia, costumes, comedy, etc., all the while keeping the music well-preserved and at the forefront of whatever they do. You might say YBR has carried the torch for what they consider the finest genre of music ever. YBR fans, young and old, are either introduced to classic rock or reminded of days gone by.

The band won top honors in the Best of Las Vegas Polls for 2007 and 2008. In June of 2011, founder Brody Dolyniuk passed the torch to new lead vocalist Kelly Christian before 4000+ fans during a very special farewell performance. YBR’s Symphonic Rock Show featured a hand-picked 30-piece orchestra, state-of-the-art multimedia, and even large-scale Rock and Roll artwork courtesy of extreme painter Jean Francois. Breaking all time attendance records for the Henderson Pavillion, the show was an ideal setting for the beginning of a new chapter for both Brody and the band.

YBR captures the music and spirit of a 70s-80s rock concert, and continues to win over new fans at every show. If you’re a classic rock fan, or just a fan of live music, YBR is a must-see when in Las Vegas.
